The purpose of this thread is to generate discussion about new developments in public sector labor relations and labor law that impact upon public employees in Massachusetts. We will try and answer questions directed to our web site on a daily basis.

I HAVE WORKED FOR MY COMPANY FOR 10 YEARS AND I WAS RECENTLY FIIRED DUE TO THE FACT THAT OUR SOFTWARE COMPANY CLAIMS I CHANGED #'S AND TOOK 1100.00 DOLLARS . I NEVER CHANGED ANY #'S NOR DID I TAKE 1100.00 DOLLARS. IN OUR MEETING I KEPT TELLING THEM THAT I DID NOT DO THIS AND THEY ASKED ME FOR MY KEYS TO THE STORE THEY SAID THEY OWE ME NOTHING BECAUSE I TOOK AN EARLY VACATION AND THIS SUPPOSIDLY HAPPEN IN THE FOUR DAYS PRIOR TO ME LEAVING FOR MY VACATION. ONE DAY THE DOLLAR AMT WAS 300.15,298.14,350.00,AND 151.71 WE HAVE HAD ALOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THE SOFTWARE SINCE THE DAY WE OPENED 2 1/2 YEARS AGO. I HAVE CUSTOMERS COMING IN WITH BANK STATEMENTS SAYING THEY ARE BEING DOUBLE CHARGED WHEN USING THEIR CREDIT CARDS OR DEBIT CARDS. ALSO SINCE DAY ONE AT THAT STORE MY HONEY DEW CREDIT DOES NOT COME OVER PROPERLY, SO IF HONEY DEW IS SHORT MY CASH OUT SHOULD COME OUT OVER ALSO THE CARWASH CREDIT IS FIGURED ONLY FROM THE REPORT TAKEN IN THE MORNING FOR THE CARWASH MACHINE ALL DOES NOT COME TOGETHER. I HAVE GONE AN APPLIED FOR UNEMPLOYMENT AND AM WAITING FOR AN ADJUSTER TO CALL ME. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY A COMPANY WOULD ACCUSE ME WITH THE ONLY PROOF OF SOFTWARE THAT HAS NOT WORKED PROPERLY. I AM NOW UNDER DOCTORS CARE FOR DEPRESSION.AND TAKEN ONE DAY AT A TIME. IF YOU THINK YOU COULD HELP ME PLEASE E-MAIL ME @ GEVRY23@CHARTER.NET.
